The app is not syncing between my devices, what should I do?

Sometimes iCloud needs a little “nudge” to get Music Tracker back in sync. Here’s a clear step-by-step guide you can follow.

Step 1. Check the basics

  • Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID on all devices.
  • Verify that iCloud Drive is enabled (Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive).
  • Ensure Music Tracker has iCloud access turned on.

Step 2. Refresh iCloud on the device that isn’t syncing

  1. Go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Music Tracker and toggle it off.
  2. Open Music Tracker once. Your library will appear empty.
  3. Go back to Settings and toggle iCloud for Music Tracker back on.
  4. Reopen the app and wait for iCloud to download your library.

Step 3. If that doesn’t solve it

  • Repeat the same steps on your main device (the one that has the most up-to-date library).
  • After re-enabling iCloud, open Settings → Backup & Restore in Music Tracker and restore your latest backup. This will push the full library back into iCloud.

Tips to speed up syncing

  • Keep devices connected to Wi-Fi and plugged into power.
  • Open Music Tracker and leave it in the foreground for a few minutes.
  • Disable Low Power Mode if possible, since it can pause background iCloud activity.

If problems continue

  • Create a manual backup and keep it safe (e.g. in the Files app).
  • Contact support and share the backup file if needed. This helps us reproduce and fix the issue.
