You can easily move your library from CDpedia to Music Tracker.
Enable all columns
To export all your data from CDpedia, you first need to make sure every column is visible in the list view. Press CMD + J on your keyboard to open the Columns panel. A list of all available metadata will appear. Enable every column to ensure the export includes all your data.
Change CDpedia Language to English
If you’re not using the app in English, you need to switch its language to English before exporting your library. Here’s how to do it:
- Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Settings.
- In the System Settings window, select General from the sidebar and click Languages & Region.
- Scroll down to the Application Languages section. If Delicious Library is not listed, click the + button.
- Select CDpedia from the list of installed apps and choose English from the dropdown menu.
- Close and reopen CDpedia to apply the language change. Some apps may require a system restart for the change to take effect.
Export Your Library as a CSV File
Once the app is in English, you can export your library. Follow these steps:
- Open CDpedia and go to File (or Archive) -> Export Collection (or you can simply presso CMD + S on your keyboard).
- Select Text and then CSV.
- Click on the Export button and save the file on your Mac.
Import the File into Music Tracker
Now that you have the CSV file, you can import it into Music Tracker:
- Open Music Tracker on your device.
- Go to the Settings -> Import section in the app.
- Select the CSV file you exported from CDpedia and select CDpedia importing type.
That’s it! Your CDpedia collection is now successfully imported into Music Tracker.
